ABOUT THE BLACKBIRD BUMPER

The Blackbird 2016+ Tacoma off road front bumper was designed to be a non-destructive install with no requirement of cutting the factory painted bumper plastics. We use our two stage bumper design which includes our frame mounted winch tray and the bumper shell making for an easy winch and bumper install. 

We use state of the art design and engineering tools like 3D Scanning and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to develop all of our bumpers.  We analyze the products real-world physical behavior by virtually testing the CAD models against linear, non-linear, and dynamic loading, allowing us to raise product quality and product durability ensuring a long service life.

The design of our 2016+ Tacoma off road front bumper uses 4 different metal thicknesses for maximum strength and light weight design. We also engineered this Tacoma front bumper with strong integrated 3/4" front recovery points for convenience in vehicle extractions.

We add laser cut LED fog light pockets and a 30" LED single row light bar pocket integrated into the bumper for optional auxiliary lighting.
