Body Mount Shim 1/4" - pack of two

1/4" body mount adjustment shims.   It is very easy to install.  FREE SHIPPING. 

 

These allow you to loosen but not entirely remove your body mounts to install or even the bolts.   This simple installation is due to the slotted opening that will just slide past the body mount bolt.   One or two of these at a body mount will help you adjust for sagging rubber body mounts that can leave your body sitting lower on one side of your frame than the other.   This is more of an issue when you install steel bumpers that bolt to the frame and come up to the body.   It is very common for the body on body-on-frame vehicles to have the body sitting not perfectly aligned with the frame.  This is not an issue for the vehicle's performance; a few strategically placed shims can take care of this for you.

Why are we offering these?  And why do they look a little fuzzy? 

We made a video showing how to make and install these 1/4" HDPE plastic body mount shims. However, we keep getting asked if we just sold them.  So these are made just like our video; they are a bit ruff with fuzzy plastic burrs and just all hand cut.   We are not making these to be pretty as once you install them you don't see them at all.  Made to work.
