How To Measure Your Suspension Lift

Oct 22nd 2020

This #TechThursday on Metal Tech Time with John, John teaches us how to accurately measure the height of your suspension. He also shows us what not to do when measuring. John even throws in some good tips to help you get those measurements! This will help you know if you have gotten the write clearance you need for the trails or if you possibly will need to do some more adjustments – like bigger tire size.

Here are the steps for measuring:

  • 1.Measure from the center of your wheel hub straight up to the fender. *Before you do anything to your truck*
  • 2.Measure all four wheels and write them down. (They may be different)
  • 3.After you lift your truck repeat steps 1 and 2 and that will tell you what your suspension is.
